Latest from Anthropic · 25 SeptA new directory submission portal, open to developers on paid Claude plans, takes both single MCP connectors and plugin bundles. Each submission is validated and safety-scanned on submit, the portal shows where it is in review with feedback, and after approval you choose when to publish. Connectors and plugins will share one discovery experience across Claude and Claude Code over the coming weeks. (Anthropic’s announcement)
915 new connectors listed in the past 7 days (945 the week before), read daily from Anthropic’s public directory feed. A listing is the end of a review, so this shows the queue moving even when few people report.
As of 5 November 2026, most Claude Connectors submissions tracked here have had no decision after 48 days. 3 are waiting.
Last decision 1–3 weeks ago. The last approval seen was on 19 October 2026.
Since 25 September 2026, anyone on a paid Claude plan submits the remote MCP server URL through the directory submission portal at claude.ai/directory/manage/new; before that it needed an Owner of a Team or Enterprise organisation. Every tool needs a human-readable title and the right safety annotations (readOnlyHint, destructiveHint), and the form asks for a privacy policy, documentation and support links.
Yes, since 25 September 2026. The directory submission portal shows each submission’s review status, its safety-scan results and recommended changes. Anthropic publishes no timeline, so adding your submission here is how the typical wait becomes visible.

Unconfirmed: last reported as waiting more than 30 days ago. They count as waiting up to that date, not beyond it.
Since 25 Sep 2026, any paid Claude plan can submit a remote MCP server through the new submission wizard in the directory portal. It is validated and safety-scanned on submit, the portal shows review status and feedback, and after approval you choose when to publish. Before that, only Owners of Team or Enterprise orgs could submit, from admin settings. Submissions still "In review" under the old system were moved over: developers had to resubmit through the wizard and rejoin the queue, as we did. Anthropic’s Tobin South said on X on 26 Sep that submissions through the old system lacked validation and safety scanning.
