Privacy

Review Times collects as little as it can. Updated 25 September 2026.

What we store

• Reports. The store, dates, status, and the optional note and link you add. Notes and links are public. We store a hash of your private update link, never the link itself.
• Email alerts. If you subscribe: your email address, which store, and whether you confirmed. Used only to send the alerts you asked for. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing stops all sending.
• Rate limiting. A hash of your IP address with a daily salt, so we can limit reports and sign-ups per network. The raw IP is not stored.
• Public posts. We collect first-hand posts about store reviews from public forums, GitHub, Reddit and X, and link each report to its source. Ask us and we will remove one.

What we don’t do

No accounts, no advertising, no tracking cookies, no selling or sharing data. The MCP server and API (reviewtimes.fyi/mcp and /api/v1) need no sign-in and store nothing beyond the reports you choose to submit.

Processors

Cloudflare hosts the site, database and email. Posts we collect are classified with TypeSafe (Jev) and Anthropic (Claude), and found with xAI and OpenAI search; those services see public post text only, never your email.
