How do I submit a plugin to the Claude plugin marketplace?
Since 25 September 2026, through the directory submission portal at claude.ai/directory/manage/new, open to any paid Claude plan. Host the plugin (MCP servers and skills) in a GitHub repo and submit the repo; run claude plugin validate first. The portal validates and safety-scans it on submit, shows review status and feedback, and lets you choose when to publish once approved.
What does "Passed review" mean for a Claude plugin?
That the review is finished, not that the plugin is installable yet. Approved plugins are pinned in the anthropics/claude-plugins-community catalog, which syncs on a schedule, and several developers have reported plugins that passed review but did not appear in the catalog for days or weeks.
Why is my approved Claude plugin not showing up?
Look for it in the directory at claude.ai/directory, not the claude-plugins-community GitHub file, which stopped tracking new listings in August when Anthropic’s directory took over. Passing review and being listed are separate steps: with the new submission portal, you choose when to publish once approved. This page shows how many plugins the directory listed this week, so you can tell a general slowdown from a problem with yours.

Since 25 Sep 2026, submitted through the directory submission portal (any paid Claude plan). It is validated and safety-scanned on submit, the portal shows review status and feedback, and after approval you choose when to publish. Under the earlier Console form, "Passed review" was not the same as listed, and some developers who passed are still not in the directory.
